Biography:
Sabine Baumgartner is Associate Professor for Bioanalytics at the University for Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. She has been working in the research area of Immunoanalytics and Food Allergens since more than 15 years. The main research focuses in general on Food Chemistry and Food Safety with special emphasis on immunoanalytical and proteomic approaches for the determination and detection of proteins in food, rapid test system development on the base of immunoanalytical methods and mass spectrometric methods for the determination of chemical and allergenic contaminants in food and feed. She was head of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for “Analytic of Allergenic Food Contaminants” from 2007-2014.

Proposed PhD research projects:
Molecular measurement of allergen exposure
